CCAP SYNODS TARGETS MALAWIAN IN RSA
CCAP Synods targets Malawians in South Africa.
The CCAP Synods of Livingstonia, Blantyre and Nkhoma had a massive rally in Pretoria, South Africa yesterday as more pastors are being sent to the country.
The induction was attended by Religious leaders of all three CCAP Synods in Malawi, namely Blantyre, Nkhoma and Livingstonia Synods including the Moderator of Blantyre Synod, Rev Robson Chimkwezule and the assistance of Blantyre City Presbytery Officials.
In his remarks, the Synod Moderator asked Malawian Citizens based in RSA to apply for the theological studies in Malawi so that in future, the Church in RSA should be ministered by those residing in RSA not taking ministers from Malawi.
Malawi Mission representative, welcomed the new pastor Rev. Matiyas Ngaiyaye and advised him to work together for and complement each others efforts in assisting Malawians in RSA and those back home. And they were reminded to assist the floods victims back home as they did last year.
Finally, the government official advised all Christians in all three CCAP Synods to take care of their pastors.
